Apple由今年初發佈的MacBook開始，新增了由Intel研發的高速傳輸介面Thunderbolt, Apple也開始為其他裝置加入Thunderbolt介面，在最新的官方網站上，出現了使用Thunderbolt接駁兩部Cinema Display的圖片，從圖中看可以推測，Apple將會在新的Cinema Display 上加入Thunderbolt的介面，讓Thunderbolt 支援的產品更多。
