Google已經開始推廣Chrome OS, 現時Google與Virgin America维珍航空合作推廣Chrome OS, 由7月1日至9月30日推出Chrome Zone的宣傳活動. 現時只要在飛機上的指定區域看到Chrome Zone, 就可以在飛行途中隨意使用預載Chrome OS的Chromebook, 是次宣傳活動還提供免費Wi-Fi上網服務, 如果有機會在宣傳期間搭乘Virgin America, 嘗試尋找Chrome Zone吧.
