Apple iPhone 4S已經成為了全球的焦點, 除了被稱為iPhone for Steve而設的手機外, 第一天的預售在各地已經都十分瘋狂(熱烈已經不足以形容), 雖然其規格看似沒什麼太大賣點, 其實iPhone 4S是全球第一款採用Bluetooth 4.0的手機. 現時Bluetooth雖然仍然以Bluetooth 2.0作為主流, 但Bluetooth 3.0也陸續出現在高階的話機款上, 週邊配件也陸續出現如Motorola Bluetooth Headset HX550. Apple iPhone 4S採用的Bluetooth 4.0有著更好的優勢, 除了向下兼容外, 其耗電量僅是前者的一半, 能夠延長手機的使用時間, 但至對應的Bluetooth 4.0週邊配件則還要等一等.
