根據外國網站AppleInsider的報導，Apple現正測試的iOS 5正式版預計會在9月底開始交付組裝廠商，即Foxconn富士康及Pegatron和碩，預計9月23日至9月30日這期間便會交達，時間推算將會在10月中iPhone 5正式出貨。
