Nintendo任天堂上星期六在日本舉行了 Nintendo World 2011，展示了新一代掌上遊戲機3DS的包裝，配件及首發遊戲。
在Nintendo World 2011上，Nintendo展示了3DS的真機，銷售包裝，3DS包裝將會包括3DS主機，3DS專用Stylus觸控筆，電源適配器，2GB SD記憶卡，6張AR卡及說明書，使用指南等，售價為日元$25,000，約港幣$2,334。
Nintendo 3DS將會在下月2月26日於日本開賣，同場會發售的遊戲包括 任天狗+貓, 3D版Winning Eleven, 3D Street Fighter IV, 戰國無雙:編年史, 超級泡泡龍3D, Ridge Racer 3D及Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles。售價介乎於日元$4800- $6090，約港幣$
