Google預計於12月底在美國推出eBook電子書平台Google Edition, 預計將會與其他電子書市場進行衝擊.
Google的Google Edition是一個閱讀平台, 強調Read anywhere, 只要用戶在Google或其他電子書網站購買了電子書, 即可以透過接上互聯網的瀏覽器閱讀電子書. 無須再購買使用指定的電子書閱讀.
Google表示已經有多間獨立書商及發行商有意參與. Google Edition的Read anywhere電子書閱讀平台無疑衝擊著電子書閱讀器市場.
